September 17 is the Binghamton Brew Festival at the Floyd L. Maines Arena, featuring more than 100 craft beers (mostly from New York State) as well as wines and local food.

On September 30, you can visit the Mark Twain House & Museum's ninth annual Tapping into Twain event in Hartford, Connecticut.

The Great Pumpkin Beer Festival takes place in Seattle, Washington on October 1 at the Elysian Fields in the North Lot of CenturyLink Field. There, you can taste more than 80 different pumpkin beers!

From October 7 through 9, Nashville celebrates its 37th Oktoberfest including domestic and imported German beers, music, local food/food trucks, arts and crafts and more! Best part of all: admission is free!

Held in Portland, Oregon, the 21st Annual Holiday Ale Festival takes place from November 30 to December 4 and includes more than 50 craft beers as well as a Sunday Beer Brunch!

And of course, for an authentic Oktoberfest experience, you can visit Munich starting on September 17. This famous German event has been around for more than 100 years!

Here is a list of many other beer tastings and events around the world: http://www.beerfestivals.org.

While some assistance providers may have exclusions for alcohol-related injuries, be comforted knowing that Global Travel Plus does not. So, if you twist your ankle while exploring Munich, it's okay if you've sampled one too many brews!
